"Instantly, I felt connected. I saw moms who were in the same stage of life, also needing assistance and affirmation Not only did I find answers, I felt wanted and needed. I made friends. True friends. My kids made friends. Others valued my opinion as a mom."
Plans Underway for our 6th Annual Putt-ing Families First Golf Tournament Blue skies, great company, delicious food and a great day of golf are the hallmarks of our yearly golf event. We're in full swing planning our upcoming event, to be held on Monday, June 13th at the lovely St. George's Golf Club in Setauket, NY. We're proud to announce our honorees, Doug Kurz, Office Managing Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Karen Lutz, Regional Manager at Citibank. Both Mr. Kurz and Ms Lutz have been with Putt-ing Families First since the tournament's inception, and served as our first co-chair for this special event. Current co-chairs Stephanie Dietz of Rockwell Firstpoint and Joe Price of Joe Price Insurance are leading the golf committee for this year's event. Sponsorship levels ranging from $10,000 down are available. Golf cart sponsorships of $3500 are limited to 4 with only 2 slots remaining. Contact [email protected] to get info about our 2005 event.
On the first day of summer, June 21, 2004, our Putt-ing Families First honorees were Stephanie Dietz of Rockwell Firstpoint and board member of the Parent-Child Home Program, and Michael Petrucelli, CFO of Uncle Wally's Muffins and founder of the non-profit Dads for Kids. Both past honorees have done extensive non-profit work in addition to their business accomplishments. Other past honorees have included John J. O'Neill of Fleet Bank and Abby Kenigsberg.
Every year, this event raises welcome funds to benefit the NAMC as well as The National Center for the Parent-Child Home Program and The Middle Country Library Foundation National Family Place Project. We especially appreciate the hospitality of PricewaterhouseCoopers for hosting our monthly meetings. Hats off to all our supporters and dedicated committee members.
