The NAMC is a partner in the Every Woman Counts Campaign, in partnership with Lifetime TV, and print publications Redbook, Marie Claire & CosmoGirl. Since over 35 million eligible women did not vote in 2004, this effort is extremely important to get women to exercise their right and privilege to vote and express their opinions. The goals of the campaign are to:

get women to vote

encourage women to run for office

make sure women's issues are addressed during the upcoming election and beyond.

Women's concerns only get attention when women speak out and vote! The National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO) has produced an election guide for women called ABCs of Women's Issues.
