Myths of �Mommy Wars� Dispelled by Mothers� Centers�
Linda Lisi Juergens on June 28th Women�s Leadership Initiative Panel ![]() �Moms Who Work: Myth & Reality� Jericho, NY, June 18, 2007-- The National Association of Mother�s Centers (NAMC) announces its Executive Director, Linda Lisi Juergens, is scheduled to speak on a panel presented by Women�s Leadership Initiative at Demos 220 Fifth Ave, 5th Floor New York, NY on June 28th from 12:15 � 1:45 PM. The panel will address the realities faced by working mothers and their families and dispel myths perpetuated by misleading reporting such as the �opt-out revolution� and the �mommy wars�. Other speakers include E.J. Graff, Senior Researcher directing the Gender & Justice Project at Brandeis University�s Schuster Institute for Investigative Journalism; Hon. Linda Tarr-Whelan, Distinguished Senior Fellow at Demos; Carol Jenkins, President of the Women�s Media Center; and Lois Backon, Vice President of Families and Work Institute.
