Letter to the Washington Post Dec 19, 2007 Funny how steroid use in major league baseball can get a congressional hearing one week after the Mitchell report is issued, but for years on the House side, we have not been able to get a hearing on legislation regarding paid sick days that would keep women with dependent children employed and economically viable so that they wouldnt have to leave sick children alone at home or go to work when they themselves are ill.
