The Long Island Nature Collaborative for Kids (LINCK) is a coalition of environmentalists, early childhood educators, outdoor educators, school teachers, health professionals and business and government leaders who work together to promote and create opportunities to connect children and nature. LINCK was created after a team of people including representatives from The Early Years Institute attended the World Forum on Nature Education for Young Children in Nebraska in October, 2006. As a partner of The Early Years Institute, NAMC is promoting information about this event which is part of a national effort.
