AFPLI (Association of Fundraising Professionals Long Island), Philanthropy Day, November 19, 2010 - Linda Lisi Juergens was a co-presenter of the workshop “Corporate Philanthropy and Responsibility: Beyond the Golf Outing” to share the NAMC’s success in partnering with corporations in creative ways.

Junior League of Long Island Community Impact Breakfast, July 22, 2010  Linda Lisi Juergens spoke about the needs of mothers and families in the context of needed services and gaps in service.  She also facilitated a discussion among attendees to identify the physical, mental and social issues that need attention with the goal of helping inform the Junior League’s strategic planning process to identify future projects and issues they might address.

On Sunday March 16th The Women Now Summit presented by The Cinema Arts Centre and The Women’s Leadership Development Center highlighted some of our valued women here on Long Island. The summit included the screening of a documentary on feminism produced by Filmmaker Ellen Cooperperson, entitled Women NOW. Program included short inspiring videotaped interviews by Today's Women Leaders, each offering a unique perspective on being a woman in leadership including NAMC's Executive Director, Linda Lisi Juergens also a founding member of MOTHERS Coordinating Council.

The conference celebrated the 30th anniversary of the 1977 National Women's Conference in Houston. Linda sat on a panel, "Redefining Family: The Evolving Role of Women and the Expanding Role of Government.”

NAMC Executive Director, Linda Lisi Juergens, spoke on a panel at this forum entitled “Moms Who Work: Myth & Reality.” The panel addressed the realities faced by working mothers and their families and dispelled myths perpetuated by sensationalistic reporting about the so-called “opt-out revolution” and “mommy wars.”

NAMC trustee, Patrice DiQuinzio, PhD, an associate professor of Philosophy and director of Women’s Studies at Muhlenberg College, and Linda Lisi Juergens, the NAMC’s Executive Director gave a workshop at the largest conference ever organized on the subject of motherhood. Their presentation, “Mothers’ Centers: Effects of Participation on Mothers and Families,” was based on surveys and interviews with Mothers’ Center participants.
